EU Biomass Forum 2010: optimising the total framework for sustainable energy from biomass
Global demand for biomass is rapidly increasing, especially in Europe, where EU 2020's target for renewable energy is a major driver for this growth. Biomass has been widely used in power generation and for heating purposes, however, the industry is now facing new challenges in the policy framework and the biomass feedstock chain which is impacting the progress to sustainable and economical growth.
IQPC’s EU Biomass Forum 2010 will focus on the energy sector and the challenging market dynamics and will bring together the world’s leading authorities to discuss unique approaches to a sustainable and competitive biomass framework and combine the perspectives of all stakeholders in the biomass value chain.
