1st Annual Effluent & Waste Water Management Conference

The conference aims to assess the status of effluent quality management and to evaluate recent developments and approaches to waste management in the region. It will cover key management challenges facing the effluent and waste water sector including wastewater reuse, environmental impacts including those of marine discharges, industrial waste treatment processes, and environmental management.

Regional regulators, industry leaders and experts will address the policy and regulatory frameworks affecting source control/sewer use, pollution prevention, treatment and effluent standards across the continent. They will assess the challenges & impact of existing facilities, organizational structure and sustainable size of utilities. Other topics of discussion include; leveraging technology to drive business integration, recovering the nutrients from wastewater through design, process innovation and supply chain collaboration, wastewater reuse potential in different industries, innovation and process control and finally availability of financial capital for projects.
